Araceli Hirtle — Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
I have my Master's of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Latino/a Family studies. I am a Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist both in California and Pennsylvania; I was first licensed in 2010. I was licensed in Virginia as well, when we had to relocate to the DC area for my husband's work, from 2013 to 2017. I have worked community mental health and private practice. I have worked with families, children, couples and adults. I have worked in a domestic violence shelter and have provided community + court advocacy. I have been a guest speaker at colleges/ universities to train students/ professionals on domestic violence and sexual assault.

Did you know we offer FREE 15 minute consultations? We will meet via telephone to get to know each other and determine if we are a good therapeutic fit.

Assessment Documentation
I will send you a link to set up your TherapyNotes account. You will review and complete required assessment documentation.

1st session
The first appointment will focus on reviewing required documentation, confirming frequency of session, exploring reasons for seeking therapy and building a good therapeutic relationship.

Weekly
We will meet 1-2x/week or 1-2x/mo based on your needs. I will provide access to our digital wellness library that will support your ongoing treatment. You may have tasks to practice in between sessions. You may take notes during your sessions and review them as needed. The goal is to make sure you are getting your needs met and feel that you are making progress.
